At Epicopia: A Collection of Food & Wine Travel Experiences we heartily agree with the principles of Slow Food. Our philosophy is, “Drink local, eat local, with the locals!” We love food and wine. We select our partners from around the world because of their dedication and support of the local and regional people, food and wine. All adhere to “good, clean and fair” travel standards. Each travel experience is designed to educate, entertain and give you a hands-on approach while enjoying the most authentic culinary experience available.

- Journeys are Extended Food & Wine Travel Experiences. Designed to last generally longer than a week, they offer several locations within a region or corner of the world. Journeys include a variety of hands-on adventures and multiple opportunities to interact with small regional producers.

- Adventures are Active Food & Wine Travel Experiences. Designed for our more adventurous friends, they include walking, river rafting, or bicycling in the company of like spirited companions. Adventures are generally 5 to 7 nights in length.

- Small Ship Adventures - If you’ve traveled with big cruise lines in the past, it’s time to forget everything you thought you knew about cruising. And if you’ve avoided cruising because you thought it would be like traveling in a floating mall, it’s time to think again. This is something else altogether.

- Destinations include our Recommended Cooking Schools and other delicious 5 to 7 night excursions. A Destinations Food & Wine Travel Experience is to a single location and is often dedicated to a specific artisanal or seasonal food or wine style.

- Appetites introduce you to local or regional Food & Wine Events. Festivals are the perfect way to sample the menu and help you decide whether to come back for a full course dinner. Appetites are 1 to 4 day travel taste menus.

- Harold In Italy are opportunities to Sample the Best of Italy with our founder, Harold D. Partain. Travel with Harold as he shares his favorites in Italy. Join Harold for a week, two weeks, or more!
