Cooking not your idea of a vacation? Join Harold for a week-long immersion in “the other side of Tuscany.” This is Harold’s eigth year at Priello and it is one of the most popular destinations.

Priello will be our home base for this week -- off the beaten track -- where we enjoy delicious food, wine and medieval villages. Priello is a working farm created from a restored collection of 17th century farmhouses.  We added a swimming pool with a stunning view across the Tiber River Valley.  Located about 1.5 hours from Florence in eastern Tuscany, Priello overlooks the border with Umbria. 

From Priello we can comfortably visit many of the popular destinations in the region. We visit Sansepolcro where the ancient Crossbow Competition is held annually. Other sites we visit include Michelangelo’s birthplace, Anghiari, Cortona, La Verna Monastery and Monterchi.

Plus you will have time on your own to relax and take in the spectacular views and enjoy the amazing cuisine of the region. We have plenty to do but will also have time to relax and enjoy “la dolce vita.”
